This is a 66" Hawker Hurricane, a model of the relatively unknown British WWII fighter that actually had more kills than the Spitfire.  The fuselage was molded fiberglass, and the wing was a balsa sheeted foam core.  The model had all Futaba radio gear and an old OS-80H engine on it.  The total weight was about 9.5 pounds.

This plane was a great garage sale find in 2006 for which I paid only $75!  I never intended to fly it, but it was so beautiful I had to pose with it before I eBay'd it.
